Mother Earth Free Market (free resources)
General
Mother Earth Free Market is an experiment in solidatity economics. What if we didn't need to buy new things/throw away old things, but instead could trade, repurpose, and reuse? The space is like a clothing swap but with everything: books clothes, plants, food, tools, art, kitchen items. Or bring a skill to share: bring a sewing maching if you know how to mend, bike tools to fix someone's bike. Please take home items that you bring that are not claimed.
How to show up to free markets:
Bring items you want to find a new home or skills you want to share or just yourself! The space is generally in an ADA accessible location where cars can be loaded/unloaded near-by. Folks will set-up their items on tables, on the grass, or wherever is available. Folks who bring items can wander or sit with their items. The location and time varies but is always outdoors. The hosts of the event are all volunteers so please bring items home that are not claimed.
